In Oct 2009 my wife and I had the great fortune to attend the City of Derby's Traditional Music & Arts Festival (thanks Mick!!)... chock full of civil war history and Industrial Revolution history, the city also boasts a statue of Bonnie Prince Charlie whose adventure into England ended there in Dec 1745. The festival is compact and extremely user-friendly and boasts a slew of amazing local talent... a great opportunity awaits attendees to see and hear some superb sights and sounds and explore the city's history which began in 9A.D. A musical recreation then of some of the fine performers from this lovely 3 day festival...
